Whats up with the remakes?! Hollywood must really be running out of ideas and is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. They are planning to make remakes of movies made in the 80’s and 90’s

Drop Dead Fred
Adventures in Babysitting starred Elizabeth Shue as a high-school senior whose dull night of babysitting is interrupted by a call for help from a friend stuck downtown. The original pic grossed $34 million.
Drop Dead Fred. Phoebe Cates loses her job and husband within her lunch hour and after returning to her family home is reunited with her crazy childhood imaginary friend, played by Rik Mayall in the original. Russell Brand, who I like, is set to play Fred.
The Never Ending Story. This one I sort of understand. Now with the advancements in CGI it can really be made into something spectacular. But there is something to be said for the animatronics and puppets used in the original and other classics like The Labyrinth and the Dark Crystal.
Speaking of The Labyrinth, if that EVER gets remade I will throw a total fit – don’t fix something that isn’t broken. David Bowie as the Goblin King, untouchable! I am excited for the movie adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are though.
