I must confess, I love Old Navy. Its a place to get just the plain basics of a wardrobe. Seeing as mine consists mainly of jeans and black teeshirts – its my heaven! I have, and this is a estimate, but probably about 20 or so black shirts – but they are all different! Scoop neck, V neck, long sleeved, 3/4 sleeves, long shirt, tank top, halter top, etc. Yesterday I was at the mall killing time, and being responsible with my money – seeing as there isn’t a lot of it. But Old Navy was having a sale, 50% off of their clearance. I walked out of there with 4 items for $25 dollars. I win!
A black cardigan – 24.50 = 19.49 = 9.75!
A black jacket – 39.50 =17.89 = 8.95!
A teal fancy tank top – 19.50 =4.99 = 2.50!
A floral dress – 24.50 = 7.99 = 3.99!
I’m a sucker for a good deal, and unlike most people who like to brag about their $280 pair of jeans, and $150 purse…I brag about my cheap sale items. “I like your dress, Jenn!” “Oh yea? Well I only paid $3.99 for it!” I think in the current economic climate its important to make smart choice with your money but still indulge a bit. Like choosing between one really good beer or two cheap beers.
