For the first time in my life I had my fortune read by a tarot card reader/medium. Although I am a believer in, shall we say, energy forces of the unknown, I was a bit skeptical.
“Before we start, I have an elderly mother figure coming through and she’s showing me a birthday cake. Is it your birthday soon?”
“Tomorrow actually.”
“Ah, well I’m assuming its a grandmother, she says Happy Birthday!”
This immediately blew me away, I didn’t even get my name out yet. The cards came out and her analysis was DEAD ON! I know you are rolling your eyes right now thinking, she asked you questions and was totally vague. Nope. She never asked me anything, just told me. I won’t get into specifics about what she told me because that’s private but I can say that I left with an immense weight taken off my shoulders.
It is my belief that we have some sort of fate, but it takes you to a certain point and then you have a decision to go one way or another. Its possible that it doesn’t matter what road you take cause they may end up at the same spot – but the journey was different. After my encounter with the spiritual side, Mindy and I continued our education at Borders. We found a book about birthdays and numerology. I do believe that there is merit to horoscopes, and numerology runs in the same vain. The part that I always like the best is your (according to the book) positives and negatives.
Positives: humorous, happy, friendly, productive, creative, artistic, power to wish, freedom loving, talented with words
Negatives: easily bored, vain, over imaginative, exaggerate, boastful, extravagant, self indulgent, lazy, hypocritical, and wasteful.
Ouch! sick burn, book!
Sometimes I think when things going badly, or you’re uncertain you feel the need for some sort of direction. Some people go to church, others turn to friends or dive into a container of ice cream. Whether its “real” or not, my psychic reading today confirmed a few things, answered some questions and gave me a sense of a relief…and it was really fun!
